HOPE AGAINST TRAFFICKING WELCOMES NEW EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR TO LEAD MISSION AGAINST HUMAN TRAFFICKING🦋

Pontiac, Michigan – January 23, 2024 – Hope Against Trafficking, a leading non-profit organization dedicated to combating human trafficking and helping survivors heal, is pleased to announce the appointment of Susana Jackiewicz as its new Executive Director.

“We are thrilled to welcome Susana to lead Hope Against Trafficking into its next chapter,” said Michele Isbister, President – Board of Directors. “With her leadership and experience, we are confident that we can effectively grow HOPE to support more trafficking survivors, and expand human trafficking awareness and prevention education to our children.”

The Board also extends its gratitude to outgoing Executive Director Lexie Schwarze for her dedication to the HOPE organization over the last 13 years. She held key roles including Executive Director and Board member and was instrumental in transforming the HOPE residential program, initiating a social enterprise for survivors, and expanding community and school education. As she retires, Schwarze will continue volunteering with HOPE on the speaker’s team to help expand community and education awareness in the fight to end human trafficking.

Hope Against Trafficking remains dedicated to providing comprehensive support services for survivors of human trafficking, raising awareness, and advocating for systemic change. The appointment of Jackiewicz reaffirms the organization’s commitment to make a positive impact in the lives of those affected by trafficking.
