With us From the Beginning: Woodside Bible Church
Woodside Bible Church has been a true beacon of light, standing alongside MW-HAT in our concerted effort to bring an end to human trafficking since our inception in 2013. They brought us in as a local non-profit organization to help us raise funds, build a volunteer base and raise awareness. We are privileged to work with Woodside’s Unshackled ministry, which is dedicated to raising awareness about human trafficking to pull slavery out from the shadows and into the public eye.
In addition, Woodside has been unparalleled in their commitment, via donations and volunteers, in making our first house, Magdalene Detroit, a true home for female survivors of human trafficking. We at MW-HAT cannot begin to express our gratitude for their continuing support in strengthening the movement to end this modern form of slavery. As part of this partnership, Lexie Schwarze, Director of Life Impact at Woodside, also expressed excitement as “we are working to provide funding for one woman to complete the two-year Magdalene Detroit program.” It is an invaluable partnership that we are so thankful for and we look forward to growing with them to continue our collective work to end human trafficking.
Thank you for your generous support. You make it possible for us to bring
life-saving restoration to individuals affected by human trafficking in the Detroit area.
