We met one of our volunteers, Zahraat Osman, at the Institute of Athletic Medicine during one of our usual informational pitches.
Recently, her children decided to do their own fundraiser to help Hope Against Trafficking. Zahraat’s children made homemade bracelets in their spare time. Because of this, they were able to raise $100 for us!
With the help of other children, Zahraat’s children put together a small group to help them sell homemade bracelets for one dollar.
They are currently working on making another round of bracelets and Zahraat’s nine-year-old is going to talk to student council about selling them at her school store.
